Non-Profits and Charities

Show-N-Tell Video is proud of it's Charity and Non-Profit work! These are a few of our Clients!

Valley of the Sun School in Sunnyslope

We had a meeting with the admin staff at VSS. They explained that they had $8,500 to fund a video intended to raise funds to build a new school on vacant land they own near the school. We asked our regular labor force to donate their time, and asked our tape company to donate all media. The video included former Governor, Rose Mofford and supermarket magnate, Eddie Basha. The video was a huge success and it won awards from MCA-I, ITVA, and several others. When it came time to pay up, we asked that Valley use the funds to purchase a power wheel chair for the underprivileged. They agreed. We all cried.

American Cancer Society

Our favorite project for the ACS was a video that drew funding for the "Camp Sunrise" cancer camp. The camp is for kids with cancer and their families. When the ACS played the video at their annual fundraiser, they reached their goal of $60k in a matter of minutes. The previous video was very effective at making the viewer feel sad but it was not a good fundraiser. Our version was fun, energetic, and beautifully effective. It will be posted on this website in the next few weeks.

American Heart Association

Our Stroke Empathy, produced in two languages, is housed in a kiosk at the AHA showroom on 48th Street in Phoenix. The program walks a person, in real time, through the steps involved in having a stroke. They claim that several lives have been saved by people who played the program in the kiosk. Wow!

Association of Lutheran Church Musicians

ALCM needed a documentary video that showcased the Church's efforts to encourage Lutheran Churches to hire professional educators to teach choir to their students.

Area Agency on Aging

Several years ago, the Agency needed a video product to show at a large gathering which included the Governor. Hosted by Pat McMahon, the video showcased a number of AAoA volunteers who gave of their time to help the elderly and others in need. The Agency's director was speechless when he saw the finished product. We saw tears.

Young Heroes

Each year, APS recognizes the efforts of youth as they go above the call to help others with no renumeration of any kind. This video is shown at the annual Young Heroes banquet that APS sponsors.

CASA - Center Against Sexual Assault

This was an educational video that explained the following to the deaf and hard of hearing: What is sexual Assault? What is the process for having someone prosecuted? What are the victims rights regarding the legal process.

Arizona Liver Foundation

We videotaped a series of in-school presentations by Mr. Liver. The program teaches youngsters to wash their hands often and especially after using the restroom. They have had very positive results.

Crisis Pregnancy Center

The Center has a troop of teens who visit Arizona schools with a program that teaches abstinence in high schools. Because they only have a dozen performers, they needed a video to get the word out in the outlying areas of the state. Their video, valued at $5000 only cost them $1500.

Frontiers

Frontiers is an international Christian mission agency focused on Muslim communities.

Muhammed Ali Fight Night

We record events on the red carpet to support the Champ's foundation that funds research on Parkinson's disease in children.

Arizona Animal Welfare League

We created a short video piece to promote the organizations community needs.

Homeward Bound

Homeward Bound provides transitional housing to families having domestic problems. We created a series of PSAs to attract donations for funding their operations.

Mission Del Sol Presbyterian Church

Stewardship Video.

United Way of Arizona

High Definition camera work for numerous projects.

YMCA

Got a call from John Young a few years ago and he needed a PSA for the Y. I asked him how much money he had and he had none. However, his spokes persons were Wyatt Earp V and Garret Van Histada, the CEO of United Bank. I told him that we were on board and he got his PSA at no charge. Garret went on to be the CEO of Wells Fargo Bank in Arizona.

American Cancer Society

We've done numerous projects for our friends at the American Cancer Society. Having lost friends and family to cancer as well as having friends and family survive cancer, we've been happy to help them whenever possible. One project was for the "Camp Sunrise" cancer camp in Payson. We'll post that video in the next few weeks.
